Main Office Summer Information Main Office Summer Hours are Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-2:00pm

We will be closed the week of July 5th.

Note that due to construction, the Main Office will be running out of the Athletics Office. Please use the Athletics Entrance

Work Permit Information Following is the school district’s process for student work permits:

Student obtains a copy of the appropriate blank work permit form from his/her employer or by using the appropriate link below (based on student age). Work Permits are also available in a mailbox outside of the WSH Athletic Entrance (Pink-14-15 years old, Yellow-16-17 years old)

Student completes Section 1.

Student takes the form to his/her Employer.

Employer completes Section 2.

Student goes to his/her school or the administration office with completed form and school ID or state ID card/driver’s license.

School or administration office reviews the work permit, confirms information with the student's PowerSchool record and ID that is presented, and completes Section 3 of the work permit. School makes a copy of the work permit for the student's file.

Student takes his/her completed work permit to his/her employer.

Additional P-EBT Benefits May Be Available for Free/Reduced Meal Students Additional P-EBT Benefits May Be Available for Free/Reduced Meal Students - Deadline to Act June 30th The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) has partnered with the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) by creating the Pandemic-EBT (P-EBT) Program which provides supplemental food assistance benefits to students who have temporarily lost access to free or reduced-price school meals due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Parents or guardians of students eligible for Free and Reduced Meals are encouraged to review the important information contained in this P-EBT Flyer for West Senior High Free/Reduced Meal Students

Information to highlight includes:

P-EBT benefits are only available for free/reduced students.

P-EBT benefits are automatically issued for any month your school has virtual or hybrid learning.

The flyer contains any month(s) that benefits were NOT issued.

If your student did not have access to school meals during the month listed (ie: was out ill or had to quarantine) you may be eligible for additional benefits.

You must request a “proof document” from Keri McCumber in the TCAPS business office at mccumberke@tcaps.net by Friday, June 25, 2021, so it can be returned to you in time to submit to MDHHS. Please be sure to include student name, birthdate and school location.

You must submit the proof document and reconsideration form to MDHHS by Wednesday, June 30, 2021.
